Dot & Dash Robotics
The grant allowed them to buy 3 sets of the Robots called Dot and Dash program which teaches students creative problem solving and computational thinking with Robotics. A follow grants was awarded which allowed them to buy iPads to use with these robots.

School Mascot
The school wanted to purchase a school mascot - COLT to use at assemblies, at community building events and to help motivate our students to push themselves even further. Students in a K–5 setting take pride in and feel connected to their school mascot.
Destination Imagination Team Trip to Global Finals
Country Lane’s 3rd/4th grade DI team, Zoe’s Nameless Chocolates, has been invited to the DI Global Finals tournament in Knoxville, TN, May 20-23rd. The team’s travel and registration costs will be covered by this grant of $2500.

Supporting DI team, the Funky, Funny, Funanagrams to be able to participate in the Global finals held at Tennessee.
The team was invited to particpate in the Global finals held in the end of May and the money will help with the travel and other expenses. The challenge included the science of the universe and many other mathematical computations to determine if their team would be successful in their flight simulation.
MEF is excited and proud to support this wonderful achievement with a grant amount of $3000.

Country Lane Instructional Technology Grant
MEF awarded $2700 to Country Lane to purchase iPads, Apple TVs and accessories for four classrooms. This grant will be used in conjunction with PTO support so that all classrooms have the technology. Teachers will be able to use educational apps to deliver whiteboard tutorials to students.
